I’ve been banging on about the boho trend recently and I’m starting to become bored of myself. However, I have no intention of changing my look anytime soon, so I guess I’ll keep prattling on about it. Boho doesn’t always lend itself to London life; floaty chiffon, suede fringe and delicate florals speak of freewheeling, Californian hippies. As per usual, I’m not bothered about the trifling matter of being appropriate. My one concession to dressing for the city is to choose pieces with a dark background. Whether it’s print, or in this case, embroidery, being on a black backdrop makes it less out of place on the grey streets of London. I bought this vintage dress on Ebay, but there are lots of embroidered peasant dresses and blouses on the high street at the moment.
My sandals are from Topshop.
