As my pregnancy progresses, I’m becoming more disillusioned with maternity wear. A lot of the dresses fall about an inch above the knee, which suits me like socks suit a rooster. I’m still in the awkward in-between phase, where I don’t really look pregnant but most of my clothes don’t fit. Non-maternity dresses with pleats in the front work well as they’ll accommodate my bump, as and when it properly pops out. I found this dress in the Ghost sale, and it caters to my obsession with vintage. I bought it in a bigger size than I would usually go for, so hopefully I’ll be able to wear it for a while yet. I’ve paired it with my favourite gilet from Ruby and Ed (similar here) and an old pair of silver Bowie-esque boots by Reiss, (similar here).
