When I was a little girl my favourite outfit was a pink ballet tutu, a fancy dress fireman’s helmet, a pair of wellies and an 80’s slogan t-shirt. I’d like to say that I’ve moved on to more sophisticated pastures, but in truth I’m still the kid in the fireman’s helmet. I now try to express my inner kid with more age appropriate get-ups. One of my favourite British designers, Georgia Hardinge, makes clothes that are feminine without being too saccharine. This skirt and T-shirt are from last fall’s collection and the shoes are by Lucy Choi.
