At 17 weeks pregnant I’m nearly half way there and I can’t believe the time has whizzed by so quickly. Thus far, pregnancy has been pretty kind to me. I’ve had spells of sickness and I’ve felt quite tired, but compared to lots of other women, I’ve had it easy. I still haven’t quite got my head around the prospect of having an actual baby at the end. I’m told that when I start to feel the baby move, reality will strike. I’m looking forward to the next stage of pregnancy. Navy and white is a classic combination for spring – I really like a breton striped t-shirt, worn with a pair of white skinny jeans and a navy jacket. Sadly, that look doesn’t work on me – the proportions of my body are all wrong. This maxi dress by Saloni is my version of a timeless classic. I picked it up from The Outnet (also available at Matches). It’s from last season, but I prefer it for the warmer months. I’ve been obsessing over matching skirts and tops for a while now. They’re not only bang on trend but also have pleasing, retro-feminine vibe and the look is pretty much perfect for my body. I inherited many things from my Dad that I am eternally grateful for, but his short, stocky legs I’m not so thrilled about. I have my mother’s long neck and torso with my Dad’s aggressive, muscular little legs poking out from the bottom of my anatomy. A matching top and skirt combo works well for me as the skirt gently skims over my killer quads, and the top reveals my waist. Here are some of the best matching sets around at the moment.
